An acoustic circle in the middle of a two-hour country show gives LONG LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC its most intimate turn. The cast gathers to salute artists including Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson, alongside a broader program of current and classic country.
Ronnie Lee Keel hosts and performs, while emerging artists such as Collin Donley contribute short sets of original music. The Las Vegas backing band is led by bassist Scott Woodward, with MacKenzie Kerr on drums, Brian Shute on guitar, and Jason Haven on lead guitar. The familiar songs and new voices share the same stage.
