Bio
Piano showmanship and comedy meet in Jefferson McDonald’s Great Balls of Fire. McDonald developed the show after portraying Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet, drawing on a career spanning more than thirty-seven plays and musicals. Based in Los Angeles, he also performs stand-up and composed music for the Netflix special Filth Queen. His collaborators include vocalist Armando Gutierrez, guitarist and singer Colin Summers, and saxophonist John Viavattine. The result combines a musician’s live performance with an actor and comedian’s timing.
